Julie Plummer
Julie is the Owner and Director of Mainstream Dance Academy and has been passionate about dance since beginning her training at the age of four. She attended the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where she further developed her artistry while serving as a member of the nationally ranked Rutgers University Division IA Dance Team.
Julie went on to perform professionally as a New Jersey Nets Dancer and was represented by Clear Talent Group in New York City. Throughout her professional career, she appeared in a variety of commercial and live performances, including a music video featuring Timbaland and Chris Cornell, performing as a backup dancer for Veronika Kole, and as a featured dancer in the celebrity fashion event Fashion Gives Back.
As an accomplished choreographer and educator, Julie has earned 14 Choreography Awards for her innovative and impactful work. Her expertise in technique, choreography, performance quality, and routine refinement has helped countless dancers reach their full potential both on and off the stage.
Julie is dedicated to creating a positive, inspiring environment where every dancer feels challenged, supported, and valued. Her passion for dance, commitment to excellence, and genuine love for her students continue to shape the culture of Mainstream Dance Academy and inspire the next generation of performers.

Sierra Duncan
Sierra has been dancing and training in Pitman, New Jersey, since the age of two. She is a graduate of Stockton University, where she earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Dance, with a concentration in Studio Operations, and Business Studies.

Throughout her collegiate career, Sierra trained extensively in ballet, modern, tap, improvisation, and dance composition under a diverse faculty of accomplished dance educators. She performed with the Stockton Dance Company during all four years of her undergraduate studies and was actively involved in student choreography, both creating and performing original works.
In addition to her performance experience, Sierra held leadership roles as Secretary and later Vice President of Stockton University’s Dance Club.

Sierra is passionate about introducing dancers to the fundamentals of movement in a way that is structured and engaging while also developing their love for dance to carry into future training.

As the Business Operations Manager at Mainstream Dance Academy, Sierra combines her passion for dance with her business and organizational expertise to support the studio’s daily operations, students, and families. She is proud to be part of the MDA team and is excited to contribute to the studio’s continued growth while helping create a positive and welcoming environment for every dancer.

Kierra Wesley
Kierra is a South Jersey native who began her dance training at the age of two. Her passion for the performing arts led her to study a wide range of styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, modern, musical theatre, lyrical, and acrobatics.
Throughout her career, Kierra has gained extensive performance, competitive, and choreographic experience. She was featured in Matt Steffanina’s Dance Con YouTube series (Episode 4) and, after graduating high school, began competing in All-Star Dance, where her team earned 1st place nationally and 2nd place internationally.

As an accomplished choreographer, Kierra has created award-winning routines for competition teams across the East Coast and has been invited to teach All-Star dance intensives in Virginia. Her choreography has received numerous choreography and entertainment awards, reflecting her creativity, innovation, and commitment to excellence.

Kierra is passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers and believes that dance builds confidence, discipline, and resilience—qualities that extend far beyond the studio. She is dedicated to creating an environment where every student feels empowered to grow both as a dancer and as an individual.

Miss Lauren
Lauren has been dancing since age four and has always had a love for dance. While growing up she found a passion for hip hop, lyrical and jazz. She competed for seven years and is a former member of the MDA Competition Team. For the past four years, she has enjoyed teaching the younger students in her spare time at the studio. While competing, she served as a role model for the younger team members. While Lauren was on the MDA Elite team, she won numerous top scores and special judges awards. Lauren is currently attending college for Radiology and will be specializing in Ultra Sound. We are so happy to have Lauren back with us at Mainstream, but this time on staff helping build and shape our students into beautiful dancers.

Miss Brittany
Brittany is a Philadelphia based performer, choreographer and educator with a BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts. Since starting dance at the age of 3, Brittany has developed a strong and diverse technical background in ballet, modern, and jazz. She has performed numerous works at The Merriam Theatre including most notable "Polka in the Spring" choreographed by Mark Morris, as well as many works performed in the Philly Fringe Festival. Brittany currently dances with Klassic Contemporary Ballet Company. As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, when outside the studio, Brittany works with dancers to create a strong foundation that will enhance their performance capabilities while avoiding injury. Brittany has been teaching locally for 8 years and now is committed to sharing her passion with students as a dance educator.

Miss Mary
Mary started dancing at the young age of four. Training in many genres of dance she found a love and passion for lyrical/contemporary. Mary was on her studios competition team where she received many top scores and special judges awards, as well as being crowned top teen soloist in the lyrical category. She was on her high school dance team, and was part of the Mercer County pre-professional program during her senior year of high school. She has performed at many different festivals throughout the Mercer County area. She started teaching at the age of 15 and continued through out college where she decided to take a different path and become a nurse Currently she works in labor and delivery, has two daughters Adelynn who is now part of the mini competition team at Mainstream Dance Academy and Soleia who will hopefully one day be a little dancer! Mary looks forward to this upcoming season and is excited to learn and grow with all the dancers and staff at MDA.

Miss Jacqueline
Jacqueline started dancing at age 2 and has had a strong love for dance ever since. She trained in all styles but favored hip hop and contemporary, while competing and winning many titles, overalls, and scholarships. Jacqueline is a dance major at Rowan University and a captain of the nationally ranked Rowan University Dance Team. She is also a part of Empire dance company where she competes on World of dance and performs/takes classes regularly. Jacqueline loves to choreograph/teach and enjoys watching her students succeed while sharing her passion of dance with them!

Miss Alexa
Alexandra Londino has been dancing in the All Star circuit for 10+ years. She has earned 20+ national championship titles and holds Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals from the All Star Dance Worlds. Alexa has choreographed for youth, junior, and senior teams around the coast that compete against the best of the best. Alexa's favorite style of dance is Hip Hop, but she was trained in all styles. Alexa was named captain of her All Star team 3 years in a row. She led the team to success at the first ever Dance Majors & Dance Worlds.
She loves working with talented athletes and is excited to teach our MDA students more about the world of hip hop from her scope

Miss Kendall
Kendall began dancing at the age of 2 and has been dedicated to the art ever since. She trained extensively in multiple styles and competed on a national level, earning numerous awards and graduating as a highest-scoring National Champion. Her primary passions are Tap and Hip Hop, and she also enjoys teaching and performing Jazz and Contemporary.
Kendall holds a degree in Health and Physical Education from The College of New Jersey. She also coaches field hockey and works at Caru Entertainment in Pennington, NJ, as well as Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre. Kendall is excited to share her experience and enthusiasm with the next generation of dancers and looks forward to helping students grow in both skill and confidence.

Miss Jenna
Jenna started dancing at 3 years old and started dancing competitively at 8. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. She danced at MDA until she graduated in 2019!Her favorite style to dance and choreograph is contemporary, but she also loves jazz and musical theater. The first piece Jenna choreographed was her own contemporary solo when she was 16. Her favorite things to practice and teach are pirouettes and fouetté turns!Jenna went to Stevens Institute of Technology, getting her BS in chemistry and a minor in pre-law and public policy. When she’s not at the dance studio, she loves to read, stay active, paint her nails, and listen to Taylor Swift.

Miss Molly
Molly started dancing at age 4. She danced competitively throughout childhood and high school, focusing on jazz, musical theater, and hip-hop. Her love for dancing has only grown over the years. When she moved from Ohio to NJ in 2014, she continued to explore her passion, seeking opportunities to continue dancing.
Molly has 2 girls- ages 5 & 7- who have immensely enjoyed their first experience here at MDA. She is thrilled to witness her own children experience the joy and determination built within the dance community.
Molly is so excited to be a part of an opportunity that builds confidence, character, and skills that can be carried throughout all parts of life.

Miss Natalie
Natalie began dancing at the age of 2 and never stopped.
She is attending Stockton University majoring in
Psychology with a minor in Business. Her training includes
Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical
Theatre, and Early Childhood Movement.
During her free time, Natalie enjoys taking master
classes to continue learning and growing as a dancer.
She has performed at Philadelphia Soul & Philadelphia
76ers games. Her credits include head choreographer
with numerous productions at Washington Township HS
as well as her many years teaching at local dance studios
in South Jersey.
Natalie is passionate about sharing her love of dance
with all ages and levels. She’s excited to be joining the MDA staff and can’t wait to meet all of her dancers!
